Shawn Sullivan

Shawn Sullivan is Partner and Studio Leader at Rockwell Group. He graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture.

His current projects include Andaz Maui at Wailea, Nobu Hotel (Las Vegas, Riyadh, and Chicago), Nobu Doha, Marriott Edition hotels (New York City and Abu Dhabi), TAO Downtown, and several high-end hospitality destinations in Asia and Greece. Sullivan’s previous work includes such high-profile properties as Maialino at the Gramercy Park Hotel; Untitled restaurant at the Whitney Museum of American Art; the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center, The Library at The Public ; Untitled at the Whitney, Marquee nightclub at The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas; Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach; Aloft hotel; and Nobu restaurants worldwide, including: the flagship Nobu Fifty Seven in New York City, and the global expansion into Beijing, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Moscow, Dubai, and Doha.

In 2013, Shawn received a Luxury Travel Advisor's Award of Excellence for Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace in the Top North America Hotel Opening category. In 2012, Shawn was honored with an AIA New York State Design Awards Citation for the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center, and a nomination for Virtuoso’s "Best of the Best" Hotel Award for Wolfgang Puck at the Hotel Bel-Air in 2011. He has also received a Commercial Interior Design Award for Nobu Dubai in 2009 and Interior Design Magazine’s Gold Key Award in 2008.
