The 2016 Tony season is in full swing. Congratulations to all of the outstanding nominees! We're thrilled to be in such good company: David Rockwell was nominated for best scenic design of She Loves Me. Because She Loves Me is set in 1930s Budapest, Rockwell used a riot of Art Nouveau details—from the late 1800s to 1914, hundreds of buildings in the city were erected in that style. The centerpiece of the design is a “jewel-box” parfumerie that pivots open to reveal the store’s elegant interior.
