Products and Buildings: How Can Architects Successfully Design Both?

Barry Richards joins Theo Richardson (Rich Brilliant Willing) and Annabelle Selldorf (Selldorf Architects) to discuss the process, pitfalls, and potential payoffs of shifting to product design. Moderated by Julie Taraska (Products Editor, Architectural Record).

Creative Collaboration/Big Art

Moderated by LeAnn Shelton, Esq., Rockwell Group's General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs, this panel discussion explores the creative and collaborative process of incorporating large scale art in design projects, from the selection of the artist to working with owners, architects, and landscape architects, funding, agency and public approvals, and intellectual property issues. Four A’s–an artist, architect, agency and attorney–will discuss both permanent and temporary works, physical and digital installations, and public versus private commissions.
