U.S. Pavilion Special Mention at Venice Biennale
Out of 55 national participants, the U.S. Pavilion was one of four Special Mentions for the 2012 Venice Biennale’s Golden Lion for Best Pavilion. Celebrating the power of individuals to transform society, the theme Spontaneous Interventions: Design Actions for the Common Good brought together urban interventions initiated by architects, designers, planners, artists and everyday citizens. Rockwell Group is honored to have Imagination Playground alongside 123 projects guiding positive urban change and reshaping the public realm.
