Intel Ultrabook™ Tree

Las Vegas, NV

The Intel Ultrabook™ Tree was an interactive canopy built from 180 Ultrabook™ convertibles. Created for the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Rockwell Group’s LAB developed custom software to enable all 180 computers to act as a single high-resolution screen, creating a window into a personal, inspiring, virtual world.

Visitors experimented with generative designs by selecting canopy graphics via a touch-screen app on one of eight Ultrabooks at the base of the tree, and launching their design up into the Ultrabook™ “leaves.”

Like the future of computer interaction, blossoming to life...
