The interiors were developed under five organizing principles: an open, simple and modern envelope; water references; custom sculptural elements such as the fireplace and blown-glass chandelier; functionality; and eco-minded colors and materials in a palette of navy, local stone, reclaimed teak, and rapidly renewable bamboo.
