NeueHouse Hollywood
Workplace
A 24/7 hub for culture, commerce, and community.
For NeueHouse's West Coast flagship, Rockwell Group worked with NeueHouse Studio to revive the historic CBS Radio Building and Studio, completed in 1938 and designed by Swiss-born architect William Lescaze. Featuring six floors of workspaces and amenities, NeueHouse Hollywood brings its pioneering model of the workplace to Los Angeles' creative entrepreneurs. Rockwell Group kept the NeueHouse DNA, but re-envisioned its look and feel to capture the energy and spirit of the building's prior role as a mid-century creative hub for the entertainment industry.
Reception
Members are greeted by a board formed concrete exchange counter and white marble reception desk.
White marble and silver-toned metals contrast with raw materials throughout, such as board-formed concrete walls, polished concrete floors, and exposed structural details.
The Adaptive Office
A series of work environments accommodate the varying needs of members.
Rockwell Group has designed a total of 10 chandelier typologies, influenced by the building’s modernist heritage, throughout the building.
Memory on Display
Vitrines hold artifacts from the building's rich history as a "machine for broadcasting."
Screening Room
A state-of-the-art screening room has custom Poltrona Frau chairs inspired by a '60s seat.
Paley Penthouse
French doors lead guests to the Paley Penthouse, a spacious 18-seat boardroom. In contrast to the rest of the interiors, the penthouse has a much more finished look, designed as a hidden gem where Paley might have retreated for meetings.
