Hopkins Student Center

Johns Hopkins University recently unveiled preliminary designs for a modern, accessible student center that’s expected to open on its Baltimore campus by 2025. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), Lead Architect, with Rockwell Group, Interior Architect, and Shepley Bulfinch as the architect of record, the facility will provide a true social gathering place for students to work, collaborate, dine, socialize, and perform. The spaces include a 200-seat performance space, a café, a student engagement hub, and a digital media center. Additionally, Rockwell Group is collaborating with BIG on a campus living room and feature stair, lounges, and a food hall.
