1 Hotel Toronto celebrates the beauty of the city's natural environment, with a design that is anchored by wellness and resiliency. Our concept reframes the city, turning its urbanism inside out, and asking, “What if a luxury hotel was an inviting portal to the natural world, instead of a flight from it?” The material palette takes inspiration from the muted colors of Lake Ontario and the contrasting textures of the passing seasons.
The nest-like lobby features a living green wall and reclaimed furnishings from materials such as elm wood and teak root.
Guest rooms reinterpret the city's culture and energy from a place of refuge.
