The Corner Store is an homage to a classic New York bar and restaurant—that warm, welcoming neighborhood stalwart that offers both a patina of history and feels as though it’s been there forever, as well as a luxurious portal to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. With careful attention to layout, we created a variety of rooms and dining styles to make sure every seat in the house is as great as the food.
The concept revives the intimate, bustling restaurants of Soho’s past at the intersection of West Broadway and Houston Street. Warm vintage inspired lighting accentuates the eclectic material palette of antiqued brass, textured plaster, classic checkered marble flooring, and high-gloss wood paneling. The spaces open up progressively, with intimate warmth giving way to cool and classic.
