Announcements

05.31.24

Following on the heels of the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C., we are thrilled to watch the design and construction process unfold at the Hopkins Student Center on the Baltimore campus. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), Lead Architect, with Rockwell Group, Interior Architect, and Shepley Bulfinch as Architect of Record, John Hopkins University’s new student center in Baltimore opens Fall 2025, with areas for relaxation and socializing, multipurpose rooms, media lounges, dining options, and student resources and support services. It will also feature a performance space with approximately 200 seats.

As JHU’s President Ron Daniels said at the ceremony, the Student Center is “a building that will be home to a constellation of open walls, meeting rooms, and gathering spaces to inspire the more than 400 student organizations that live on our campus.”
