Barry Richards is a Principal and Studio Leader at Rockwell Group, who has led the firm’s product design studio for almost 30 years. A talented artist and inspiring leader, Barry brings a broad and multifaceted skill set to Rockwell Group, demonstrating an intuitive understanding of what people want to see, live with, and touch. Barry has spearheaded the firm’s numerous licensed product collections through collaborations with brands such as Knoll, The Rug Company, Roche Bobois, Lasvit, Paola Lenti, Stellar Works, Maya Romanoff, Jim Thompson, and Gessi. His work also extends to exhibition design, where he has created evocative settings for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta and the Walt Disney Family Museum. He is a graduate of the University of Washington in Fine Arts and Architecture, and Princeton University, Master of Architecture.
