Joan MacKeith leads Rockwell Group’s global communications and press strategy. Since joining over 30 years ago, she has strengthened and helped guide the firm’s mission, playing a critical role in defining its identity and culture within the industry and beyond. Joan spearheads all press relations and campaigns, which in turn fosters multi-pronged engagement with clients, the design industry, and the public at large through partnerships, programming, events, and lectures. Joan has elevated the firm’s visibility through orchestrating unique and memorable opportunities with brands, institutions, and publications, which often entails nurturing relationships for years. Joan oversees the firm’s charitable initiatives, including the Cork Collective and relationships with DIFFA and Citymeals on Wheels. She co-directs Rockwell Group’s external marketing partnerships including business development, sales, and press launches for the firm’s product collaborations, and has also overseen the development and international launches of the firm’s four publications. Prior to joining Rockwell Group, she was simultaneously Philadelphia’s Director of the Percent for Art Program and the Director of the Redevelopment Authority’s Public Art Program.  She also previously worked at the Smithsonian Institution’s Traveling Exhibition Service.
