Principal and Studio Leader Michael Fischer has been with Rockwell Group for more than three decades. A theater consultant before joining the firm, Fischer has consistently fused a narrative arc to his design work— in spaces dedicated to the stage, screen, and beyond. His vast portfolio includes the lobby and Metropolis by Marcus Samuelsson restaurant at PAC NYC, the performing arts center in downtown Manhattan; multi-level spa and wellness destination Bathhouse in Flatiron; the renovation of the historic Hayes Theater in New York; the TED Theater in Vancouver; The Anthem in Washington, D.C.; Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center at Lincoln Center in New York; and the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University.
