Andaz Maui at Wailea

Wailea, HI

On the island of Maui, motifs of Hawaiian hospitality and island rituals inform the Andaz brand's first resort. When tapped to redesign the hotel that had lost touch with its location, Rockwell Group imbued guest rooms and public spaces with a local vibe that enhances their connection with the outdoors.

An infinity pool overlooks the ocean at sunset.

Guests don’t need to wait to sink their feet into the sand—a skylit central sandpit welcomes them in the lounge, where nearby infinity-edge pools give way to the beach.

A wooden spiral staircase, recalling the curves of a Hawaiian canoe, leads guests down to the resort’s main restaurant and infinity pools.

The 14,000-square-foot`Āwili Spa and Salon offers 10 treatment rooms and a private pool.

Inspired by a Hawaiian apothecary, the spa is a luxurious destination for guests to relax and rejuvenate. Cabinets filled with herbs are mixed by apothecary consultants.

Hawaiian rituals and traditions transport guests upon arrival.
