Café Boulud
Restaurant
Rockwell Group partnered with Four Seasons and Dinex Group to develop the Middle East debut of Daniel Boulud’s acclaimed Café Boulud. To capture the restaurant's singular blend of contemporary elegance with old-world charm, Rockwell Group took inspiration from classic French brasseries and elegant, daylit conservatories. Natural light streams into the main dining area from a glass-enclosed sun room, bringing a golden radiance to accents of marble and brass. Lush greenery creates a tranquil, garden-like setting for Chef Boulud’s French fare.

A compressed hallway leads to one of the restaurant’s most distinctive features: a faceted, octagonal cheese tasting room. Stone niches contain backlit shelving for cheese, bread, wine, and other products, displayed like precious artifacts. Vaulted, mirrored ceilings reflect the warm glow from three jewelry-inspired bronze and alabaster pendants, along with bronze and stone display tables below,
Adjacent to the cheese display room is Julian, an exclusive private chef’s table and dining room, eponymously named after Chef Boulud’s son. The interior is a departure from the rest of the space: light green walls are inspired by Boulud’s home in Lyon.
