Rockwell Group transformed one of Solaris Plaza’s venues into a clubhouse collective catered to a new generation of Vail, with a series of bespoke experiences for dining, playing, and lounging. Located in the heart of Vail Village, Chasing Rabbits occupies a 13,000-square-foot space and includes a restaurant, theater, library, arcade, and speakeasy. These distinct dining and entertainment spaces allow guests to move through each area from late afternoon into the wee hours.

Arched walnut portals delineate the bar and lounge from the main dining room, and antique mirror ceiling panels elongate the room.
From the restaurant, guests make their way to The Library, an eclectic lounge and extended dining room.
East meets West at the speakeasy Moon Rabbit, which is entered through a secret panelized door. The journey there features red marquee lighting in the ceiling and a rug with a red lightbulb pattern, providing an optical illusion of reflection.
“Each space has its own look and feel, so there are different stories we are telling, and in turn, asking guests to choose their own ending.”
Rabbit Hole, the signature playhouse at Chasing Rabbits, features vintage arcade games, a DJ booth, photo booth, popcorn machine, air hockey tables, and lots of neon. A bar with a cinema-like marquee nods to the Playhouse’s ability to transform into a screening room.
