Welles by David Rockwell
Lighting
The Welles by David Rockwell is a reimagining of Gabriel Scott’s iconic Welles Steel Chandelier. Inspired by botanic forms and clusters found in nature—crystals, chemical compounds, clouds—the chandelier is a floating cluster of glass polygons defined by volume and organic movement.

“I just felt like this was an opportunity to create something really special with people who did the kinds of things I want to be with. Craftsmen who are obsessed and people who truly want to innovate. Those are the kinds of things that I find really moves us forwards as a studio.”
The hollowed glass polygons act as metallic light points that come together at varying heights and dimensions to form a floating light cluster.
