Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho

Tokyo, Japan

The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho is Starwood’s first Luxury Collection hotel in the city, occupying the top seven floors of a mixed-use development and offering panoramic views of surrounding parks and gardens, the Imperial Palace, Mount Fuji, Shinjuku City, and Tokyo Tower. Rockwell Group's design capitalizes on this sense of elevation and levitation at every turn.

The double-height sky lobby and lounge create a grand sense of arrival for guests.

Essential to creating an ethereal, dream-like environment was the articulation of the boundaries between the interior of the hotel and the sky that surrounds it. Both public areas and guestrooms display different kinds of prosceniums that interact with the breathtaking views.

Multifunctional guestrooms are designed with thoughtful and creative touches, keeping leisure and business travelers in mind. For each room, the focal point is a portal that draws the eye to the views.

A restaurant on the 35th floor has delicate stainless steel tree trunks and a Venetian plaster ceiling with an abstract foliage design. Along with a fragrant vertical herb garden, these elements contribute to the restaurant’s immersive garden experience.
