OpenStage NYC

New York, NY

A pro-bono initiative from Rockwell Group and TAIT, OpenStage NYC launched in March 2021 to help local nonprofit arts organizations move to outdoor performances during the warmer months. OpenStage utilizes TAIT’s equipment from its vast, reconfigurable staging inventory to create unique, quick-deploying staging systems.

We partnered with BAAD! Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance and OpenCultureWORKS to program the stages.

OpenCultureWORKS, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing live performing arts programs and events to streets, parks, plazas, and other public spaces, is bringing free weekend outdoor performances to Open Boulevards streets through October.

BAAD! produces and supports cutting-edge contemporary dance and all creative disciplines that are empowering to women, people of color, and the LGTBQ+ community.
